Dave's Downtime's main main - and he's the guy who's going to be building your new steed. He's been working with all sorts of fancy fibres for nearly a decade, including vac-bagged and pre-preg polo boats for P&H. He also oversaw the rejuvenation of Valley's surf boat range, so there's no-one better qualified for composite construction. Since he's taken over the helm at Downtime, he's brought new shapes, new constructions, new ideas and whole bucket-loads of enthusiasm. And now he's bringing his considerable surf-boat expertise to Airtime...
But to call Dave a boat builder's to miss the point. First and foremost, he's a paddler. In his squirt boat, he's a big game hunter on the squirt safari, which has taken him as far afield as France, Spain, Canada and West Virginia, rooting out the perfect charc. He's also paddled as part of the GB squirt squad, but Dave's heart's really in destination park'n'sink, without any of that extraneous flailing on the eddyline.
